Aki figyelemmel kísérte a Homár eddigi tündöklését, az jól tudja, hogy a kommentelés megszüntetése valójában nem a civil újságírásra mért csapás. A hozzászólások többséges semmiről sem szól, ha meg igen, akkor meg jobb lett volna, ha nem teszi....
A Homár (vagyis az Index) szerkesztői számára betelt a pohár, közel másfél év alatt bebizonyosodott, hogy a „fórumozók nem képesek civilizált módon, fasisztoid szabályok nélkül egymással kommunikálni egy ún. blog keretein belül”
Tudomásom szerint az Indexen működik a legrégebbi hazai „tömegfórum”. Az Index szerkesztői pontosan tudják, hogyan kell egy fórumot működtetni, moderálni, a szándékos rombolóktól megvédeni. Érthetetlen tehát, hogy a moderálás helyett miért a bezárkózás mellett döntöttek.
Vagy nem is anniyra érthetetlen? Az Index az utóbbi időben igen takarékosan működik. Nincs látványos terjeszkedés, bevásárlás, bővülés, az újabb és újabb (ál)blogokat leginkább jól bevált belső munkatársak működtetik. Ennyire futja, többre nem.
Persze az is lehetséges, hogy a Homár azért bünteti olvasóit, mert nem voltak elég aktívak a Golden Blog közönségszavazásán:-)
